USDA’s Energy Programs (within Rural Development) provides grant and guaranteed loan funding through our Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), which can be used for energy efficiency, solar, wind, geothermal, hydropower and biomass energy projects for small business (rural) and agriculture producers (urban and rural). Additional funding programs include; the Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical, and Biobased Product Manufacturing Assistance Program; Business & Industry Guaranteed Loan Program, Value Added Producer Grant; and other related programs which can assist rural businesses, cooperatives, and agricultural producers.
