Newburg R-II School District Working with ESP to Make Building Renovations and Addition
Newburg R-II School District, located in Newburg, MO, is working with Energy Solutions Professionals (ESP) to address key building renovations and a building addition. Several of the District buildings were in need of roof replacements or repairs, and the District is planning to make renovations and additions to their Ag/Shop building.
ESP worked with Newburg to develop a phased program, wherein urgent needs would be addressed right away, while plans and designs for the addition were continuing to be developed. Phase one included new interior and exterior LED lights throughout the District, roof replacements and gutter coatings. This allowed the District to benefit immediately from the elimination of leaky roofs, and also provided energy and operational savings.
The Ag/Shop renovation and addition is currently in development and will be completed during the next phase of the project. Construction is expected to start this summer.
